Did you know that failing to clean up after your dog in a public place is an offence across the UK?

Dog fouling is more than just unpleasant. It is an environmental crime and can pose a serious health risk to children and other members of the public.

Anyone in charge of a dog is responsible for removing and disposing of their dog's waste immediately. Those who fail to do so may receive a Fixed Penalty Notice (FPN) from their local authority, with fines commonly set at £100 in England and Wales and up to £1,000 following prosecution through the courts.
